the campus is too big and its quite annoying travel to and fro to uni and shops

BUT, they do have buses that run within the campus and from the drive way u can see the duke chapel (as illustrated below), which i think is very nice

its my 4th day in NC
and the weather isnt treating me so well (its pretty hot considering i was expecting fall weather)

anyway, everyday it has been pretty busy, met my roomate Quentin on the morning i got here and his fellow french friends, Isabelle and Marie as well as Joel (all very nice people)

met some of the people in my course, which, in total has 125 students

apart from the International students, i also met some locals (whom i knew from Joel as the local student went to France as exchange), all very nice people (Alfredo, Paul, Elliot, Leo, Matt, David, etc etc)

pretty much every night has been either pubbing or drinking (same thing), theres quite a few pubs within walking distance from my dorm and also went to Alfredo's place for a few drinks + his home-made beer + beer-pong (check wikipedia for those who are not familiar with it)

will upload some fotos soon, this place is beatiful and HUGE

last day @ work today, hooray!

kinda a mixed feeling as i am leaving Syd very soon (next Wed), its exciting heading over to a new environment but i am sure things will work out (eventually), it'd be nice to meet new ppl from my course

1) u r special if u r deformed

2) not surprised since they sell fake eggs and soy sauce, but u gotta give them some credit for the creativity in packaging (LOIN KING), pffff
